Quick Trip 6 Nights 7 Days Kashmir Itinerary
Gulmarg is famous for the world’s highest Gondola, a cable car ride; you have to book tickets (at your own cost). The ride will take you through two Phases, Kongdoori Station Phase 1 and Apharwat Peak, that is phase 2, at an elevation of 4,390 meters (14,403 feet) above sea level. Both phases for exploration will take around upto 3 hours. After that, we will visit the Rani Temple, St Mary Church and Gulmarg Town. You can enjoy optional activities like horse riding, atv biking and snow activities during winter, diiner & overnight stay in Srinagar
After breakfast in Srinagar, we will leave for a day trip to Sonmarg around 2-hour of drive and 80 km distance. The journey will be wonderful, we will drive parallel to the River Sindh till we reach Sonmarg, on the way we will stop at Wayil Bridge, a scenic spot on the riverside to enjoy tea and snacks, then we will drive through Mammar a famous spot for trout fish farming. If you wish to explore, we can stop for a visit, the next stop will be Gagangir, it is an island in the middle of the River Sindh a very beautiful spot to enjoy nature and fresh air. On arrival in Sonmarg, you can take ponies to explore Thajiwas Glacier at your own cost the snow remains almost round the year on the Glacier, after returning back to Sonmarg. If you wish to explore more deeply this region you can hire a local union cab to Zero Point mountain pass, Baltal valley, and the Kargil war memorial at your own cost the cab charges is approximately Rs: 4000 to 5500 thousand, depending on how many places you will choose. At the end of the day we will return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 Srinagar Day Trip
After breakfast, we will explore the capital city Srinagar, known as the city of lakes and rivers. Today enjoy a full day trip, we will start from the Shankachiriya Temple located on top of Zabarwan hill, then we will explore Pari Mahal ( A Fairy Palace ), Chasma Shahi Garden, Botanical Garden, (Tulip Garden in March & April ), Nishat and Shalimar Garden. After exploring these Mughal Gardens, we will drive towards old city via foreshore road on the way we will make a stop at Hazratbal Mosque, located on the banks of Dal Lake you can enjoy photos and famous Halwa parathas there, then we will explore the charm of Old City, along with Jaima Masjid and Badaam Wari Park, and during evening we will visit Lal Chowk clock tower the area is famous for selfies, short videos and shopping for Kashmiri souvenirs, the dinner and overnight stay will be in Srinagar.
Day 7 Srinagar Day Trip – Railway / Airport
