Pahalgam is also known as the Valley of Shepherds, the distance is approximately 90 km and 2.30 hours of journey from Srinagar. Then continue your journey after a while you will drive through Avanti Pora over there, take a visit to the 9th century historical site of Hindus known as AvantiSwami Temple Ruins dedicated to Lord Shiva, spend some time there, then continue your journey to Pahalgam.
