Application Process
Fill in your basic details: name, passport info, travel dates, etc.
Upload required documents (passport scan, photo).
Choose visa duration and number of entries.
Pay fee (for Malaysian nationals e-Tourist visa is gratis (free) during the special scheme period). Otherwise, fees apply. Confirm timing of the scheme check here
Wait for visa approval by email. Download/print the eVisa. Carry it with you when travelling.
Entry Points & Validity
Your first entry into India must be through an airport or seaport designated for eVisa entries. Delhi is one such airport.
Check that your travel dates fall within the visa validity window.
Double-entry means you can leave India (e.g. to a neighbouring country) and return, but only twice.
Important Notes

Ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity beyond your date of return.
Print or have soft copy of visa to show immigration officials.
Fly from Malaysia to Delhi
After arriving in Delhi, you will go through immigration (if required) and transfer to the domestic terminal for your Delhi → Srinagar flight.
Allow enough time for immigration, baggage re-check (if your international flight and domestic are not on same ticket), security checks. I recommend at least 3-4 hours buffer between your arrival in DEL and departure to SXR (Srinagar).
Fly from Delhi to Srinagar (DEL → SXR)
Expect Total Travel Time
From KUL → DEL is ~5-6 hours (depending on route/airline).
Add layover/transfer time in Delhi.
Then DEL → SXR (~1.5 hour).
Total journey can be around 8-12+ hours, depending on whether flights align well.
